Evallo’s Calendar offers three distinct views—Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly—to help you stay organized and get the most out of your scheduling. Each view is tailored to provide a unique perspective, whether you’re managing daily sessions, planning for the month ahead, or reviewing your long-term schedule. Let’s explore each view and learn how to use them effectively.

Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Views

Weekly View: Your Day-to-Day Management Hub

The Weekly View is the default view of the Calendar, designed to give you a detailed look at your schedule for the week. Here’s what makes this view so powerful:

What It Shows:

  • Days of the week (Monday through Sunday) as columns.

  • Time slots as rows, starting from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM.

  • Event cards for all scheduled sessions, consultations, internal meetings, booked meetings (using booking link), and office work.

Key Features:

  • Event Cards: Each card is color-coded based on the service and event type (e.g., sessions, consultations) and includes details like time, attendees, location, and platform (e.g., Google Meet).

  • Hover Details: Hover over an event card to view more details or click on it to edit the event.

  • Mini-Calendar: Located in the sidebar, it lets you quickly jump to a specific week.

  • Filters: Narrow down the visible events by services, users, session statuses, and more.

How to Use It:

  • Use the Weekly View to plan and manage your daily tasks. It’s perfect for tutors managing back-to-back sessions or administrators keeping track of multiple users.

  • Quickly identify overlaps or free slots by scanning the time slots.

    Tip: Customize your start day (Monday or Sunday) in the Calendar settings to match your workflow.

Monthly View: Your High-Level Planning Tool

The Monthly View gives you a bird’s-eye view of all scheduled events for the month. It’s great for long-term planning and reviewing your overall schedule.

What It Shows:

  • The month laid out with days as boxes, each containing event cards for scheduled sessions.

  • A highlighted box for today’s date, making it easy to identify where you are in the month.

Key Features:

  • Compact Event Cards: While less detailed than the Weekly View, the cards still display key information like event type and time.

  • Hover Details: Hover over a date to see a summary of events for that day.

  • Navigation: Use the arrows at the top of the screen or the mini-calendar to move between months.

How to Use It:

  • Use the Monthly View to track recurring events or to ensure a balanced schedule.

  • Quickly identify busy or free days and adjust your schedule accordingly.

Tip: Pair this view with advanced filters to focus on specific services or team members.


Yearly View: The Big Picture

The Yearly View is designed for long-term planning and offers a snapshot of your entire year. Whether you’re mapping out recurring events, holidays, or annual goals, this view helps you stay on top of your schedule.

What It Shows:

  • A grid of 12 mini-calendars representing each month.Dots on specific days to indicate scheduled events.

Key Features:

  • Hover Details: Hover over a dot to see a summary of events for that day.

  • Navigation: Use the arrows at the top of the screen to move between years or click on a specific month for more details.

How to Use It:

  • Use the Yearly View for strategic planning—whether it’s setting annual goals, marking holidays, or planning recurring sessions.Identify patterns in your scheduling and adjust to optimize your time.
